WHAT HE DOES
Mason is the Site Engineer of FB Server. Where the rest of the crew watch, record and protect, Mason creates: the sites the server hosts, the services behind them, the machine itself. When something new appears on FB Server, it came through his hands.
He never reloads on hope — a site is checked before it goes live — and he moves a removed site aside rather than deleting it. Loud in a corridor, careful at a bench.
ON THE SERVER
Real job: putting up sites and services, and taking them down cleanly.
Real alert: a site that didn’t come up, a config that didn’t pass its test.
Real record: every build and every removal logged — with the old version kept, not destroyed.

Build it, test it, then switch it on
No site goes live on hope. Mason checks the config before he reloads anything.
Move aside, never delete
A removed site is parked with its name and date. Nothing is thrown away.
One change at a time
He changes one thing, checks it, writes it down — then the next. Never three at once.
