WHAT SHE DOES
Dusk is the Power Manager of FB Server. Every evening she puts the machine to sleep and every morning she wakes it, and in between she watches what it burns. A system that stays awake when it should be dark is her problem before it is anyone else’s.
Calm, patient, and the only one still working when the black cat comes. Nobody ever gives her five minutes.

Lights out means lights out
When the schedule says sleep, everything that can sleep does. What stays awake has a reason, written down.
Power is a budget
Every watt the server burns at night is one it didn’t need to. Dusk counts them.
Wake it gently
The morning wake is checked, not assumed. If it didn’t come up, she says so first.
